Well, since people are complaining I don't update often enough and I haven't played more than a session or two since the last update, I'll just post off-topic stuff like my ski gear (as requested by some).
I'll also post purrty pictures of the landscape and myself on skis as soon as I have some (like DaPhunk has been doing)
Pretty pictures ahead! So, I ordered new telemark boots and bindings three months ago, and after one wrong order, I should get the new bindings mounted by tomorrow or the 26th...admire: (actually the skis are ugly, but that's a detail; what counts is the dimensions and properties)
In case you're thinking "wtf", let me explain =)
As you can see, the binding attaches to a "second heel" under the foot, and is made of rubber and a couple springs, for resistance (they can be changed depending on how you ski or how much you weigh). The silver lever (right) opens the binding, and the yellow one puts it into tour mode. That means, 0 resistance for when you're skinning up.
Oh and the boots are compatible with regular alpine ski bindings (so I can steal other people's skis!)
And this is the beautiful helmet I bought yesterday, Sweet Trooper half-cut (I ordered a visor to go with it, it should be there in a week or two):
It'll go perfectly with my black clothes =P
